Artist In A Box is a live art performance established by DeMarcus Purham, a commercial artist from Chicago. He specializes in creating detail cityscapes with Acrylic paint markers and Prismacolor pencils on a multicolor background.

 

Purham started Artist In A Box after doing live sketch demonstrations at upscale art events, such as The Artist Project New York. The concept was developed to showcase his artistic ability and physical endurance inside confined space.
